Meet Dr. Hira
Dr. Hira is originally from Janesville, WI. She's a fifth generation doctor in her family, but proud to say a first generation chiropractor. She always thought she'd follow her grandparents footsteps and become a pediatrician or a surgeon. However, when her mother was suffering from glioblastoma, Dr. Hira knew that she needed to devote her life to leading people to optimal health. Around that time she was introduced to Chiropractic by an aunt and learned how chiropractic was unique from every other healthcare profession, focusing on health, whereas the US healthcare system focuses on disease. She knew that she was born to be a Chiropractor. Dr.Hira truly believes that optimal health is only present when our nervous system is functioning 100%. We live our lives through our nervous system and its connection to the rest of our body. A fixation, subluxation, in a joint hinders messages from flowing between the brain and the body. This leads to lack of sensation and ultimately causes discomfort, pain and/or illness.
Dr. Hira set out on a mission to learn chiropractic but specifically pediatric chiropractic. She completed a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She went to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA to earn Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She attended and organized seminars and spent every free moment she could with most knowledgable and amazing mentors. Dr. Hira received Webster’s technique certification in 2017 from ICPA. She's currently working towards completing postdoctoral training in prenatal and pediatric care as well. While at graduate school not only was she learning from the best, she was sharing the knowledge with other students. She was teaching Sacro Occipital technique as a club leader, a teachers assistant for Physical Therapy and Physical Diagnosis courses, a clinic radiology intern, and the vice-president of Student International Chiropractors Association. Dr. Hira's goal is to bring Chiropractic to all the countries, especially Pakistan with the help of International Chiropractors Association — setting up Chiropractic licensure and teaching about the benefits of Chiropractic. In her spare time she enjoys being outside, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, eating cheesy foods, drinking coffee, working with dogs, and spending time with her family and friends."
